Getting to Certaldo:

Certaldo is a small town situated
between Florence and Siena. We'll
probably be arranging some shared
transportation from the villa, but if
you're going to Certaldo by yourself,
the best way would be to start from
Florence and follow the map at right.

By car:

From the north - Florence (Firenze):  
While on the A1 take exit Firenze
Signa;  from highway Pisa-Livorno
exit Empoli ovest,  then take state road
429 toward Siena.

From the south - Siena:  
Highway Siena-Firenze toward
Poggibonsi, take Poggibonsi exit, then
state road 429 toward Empoli.

By Train:  

Certaldo is on the Florence-Siena line.  
A train leaves Florence at least once
per hour and the ride takes about 50
minutes.
